This presentation will explain the idea behind Sparasol and invite your students to brainstorm about the various ways they could become a part of this 21st century-style climate activism.
Youth Change the World – a multimedia story-telling session that will share with your students examples of young people from different continents who discovered a leader within themselves and made a step from vision to action. One hour filled with music, videos, images and inspirational stories that will make you want to jump from your seat and run to save the world! In the past this presentation inspired dozens of young people around Europe to make their first step on the path of active citizenship.
“From anxiety and depression to inspiration and action” – a training workshop for your teachers on communicating sustainability and climate change in their classmate in a positive, constructive and empowering way. This workshop sums up all the important principles and guidelines behind Wake-Up Call’s successful products and shows how to implement them, step-by-step, in a classroom environment.
“Vadå socialentrepreneur?!” – a training workshop for your teachers on using principles and tools of social entrepreneurship to design practical projects with their students as part of their curriculum. Originally designed by request from Sweden’s largest network of private high schools, this workshop inspired a brand new course that is now being offered to students in schools around Sweden.
Redesign the World – a hands-on practical workshop that will give your students basic tools of social entrepreneurship and project management and help them design their own practical projects that could be further developed for implementation. Based on hundreds of workshops given around Sweden in the past five years that gave birth to dozens creative projects that were covered by various media and caused some serious ripples.
